Evan Grabelsky, 32, of Merrick, was found around 11:44 p.m., Saturday, June 1, when the Nassau County Police Homicide Squad responded to call for a stabbing victim, said the Nassau County Police.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found Grabelsky inside an Elliot Street home with multiple stab wounds, including defense wounds on his arms and hands, police said.
He pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Police do not believe the stabbing to be random. The investigation is ongoing.
